Julia Davison

Julia Davison is an experienced CEO and board director. She has worked across a number of sectors with the common goal of improving people's lives.

 Julia has more than 20 years of experience as the CEO of large, complex organisations. She was theFounding CEO of Goodstart Early Learning Australia’s largest early learning provider and a unique social enterprise with a turnover of $1.2b and is a former CEO of Flinders Medical Centre, a large teaching hospital, and Workcover SA.

Julia has held a number of board roles, including chair of Catherine House, supporting women experiencing homelessness, and chair of the Cape York Girl Academy, a culturally safe boarding school for First Nations young women and their children. Julia is currently Chair of Coaxial Foundation, a board member at Childcare Economic Opportunity Fund NSW and a non-executive director at Paul Ramsay Foundation, where she applies her executive and strategic leadership experience to support philanthropy, government investment and systems change.

Julia has a strong interest in social policy and is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School. She holds theINSEAD coaching certificate and is an executive coach to a small number of CEO’s in the for-purpose sector.
