Dr Desiree Beekharry

Dr Desiree Beekharry is a keynote speaker, facilitator and international expert on fear, risk and human behaviour in high-pressure environments. With over 30 years' experience spanning international airlines, government UN emergency mobilisation and large-scale disaster response, she has worked at the intersection of high stakes, human behaviour and operational excellence. Beginning her career with two international airlines, Desireedeveloped a deep understanding of customer experience and the balance between efficiency and human connection.

She holds a Doctor of Project Management specialising in Disaster Management, is a certified behavioural profiler, and is the creator of Sensory Intelligence®, a leadership framework that helps organisations strengthen communication, trust and performance in an increasingly automated world. Her international research and field experience across Europe, the United States and Australia underpin her work with leaders and teams on conflict, communication, crisis leadership, organisational change and building more human-centred workplaces.
