Samantha Walkley
Finance, people, marketing, operations: for 26 years Samantha ran them all as CFO and COO, growing a regional Western Australian business to five sites and a successful sale.
A former teacher who never set out to run a business, she helped build a multidisciplinary allied health practice across the South West, adding two satellite clinics and more than a dozen practitioners under its roof, through to its sale in September 2025.
In a country business, you do whatever needs doing. Over those years Samantha handled rosters, room rentals, cash flow, marketing, HR, maintenance and everything in between. She knows what it takes to keep multiple sites and many people on track. She also knows
how easily that work goes unseen, even by the person doing it. That’s at the heart of how she coaches. Every business is two crafts: the work its owners are skilled at, and the business built around it. Samantha helps owners strengthen the second. She is comfortable getting into the real numbers and turning them into decisions that make the business run better and actually pay its owner. Her financial skills are current. She coordinates a fast-paced office for a leading Western
Australian jewellery retailer and manages everything from bookkeeping through to BAS. Her roots are in allied health and regional business, but the fundamentals she brings work anywhere: clear communication, accountability, strong systems and knowing your numbers. Samantha is warm, energetic and straight-talking. She is supportive, but she will challenge you when it counts, and she won’t sell the fantasy of an effortless business.
Years of seeing patients in pain made health and movement a priority in her own life. Away from work, she can often be found on a long walk ending in a bookshop and a good coffee, or volunteering at the Red Cross Bindaring sale day.
Her philosophy is simple: honest conversations, shared direction and a willingness to find solutions create better outcomes for everyone.
